Rebels Take Lead
The Kuhl Machine Shop Rebels travelled to Arthur on Sunday evening for game three of their OMHA playdowns. The Rebels won the game with a 4-1 score to take a 2-1 lead in this best of five series.
Scoring first for the Rebels in the first period was Brendan Batterman (assisted by Joel Delleman). The Rebels scored a power play goal in the second period with a shot by Kai Hiemstra (assisted by Morgan Ottewell and Connor McCauley). Joel Delleman made the score 3-0 (assisted by Cameron Stryker) and then the Vipers scored their only goal of the game. Cameron Stryker (assisted by Morgan Ottewell) scored a well deserved short-handed goal with 2:43 left in the game.
The Rebels and Vipers face off next on Friday, February 6 at 8:30 pm in Chatsworth.
