Finished a Goal SHORT...
The "Harold Sutherland Construction" PeeWee REP boys headed to Chesley Sunday night for Game 1 of their best of 5 series with the Arran Elderslie IceDogs.
Unfortunately the REBELS came up one goal short in the 5 - 4 game.

Owen Mackison worked hard in net for the Rebels, but the IceDogs managed to get by our defence and were on a mission, firing high and hard into the net with 5 goals in 2 periods (4 scored by 1 player...hopefully the boys got his # and can shut him down in game 2).
The Rebels were short handed for 10 minutes of the game, but still managed to control most of the 3rd period.
The boys worked as a team for the goals they got, scoring 2 in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd.
Austin McComb scored 1st on a pass from Calvin Stewart and Hunter Schultz.
Nick Garrett picked up a pass from Calvin and buried it high in the net.
Hunter Schultz skated the puck in and made a beauty pass to Austin McComb who had come up with him and got a shot at the net.  The IceDogs goalie made a quick save, but Hunter was all over the rebound!
For the final Rebels goal
, Josh Currie kept control of the puck behind the net and got a pass out front where Calvin was ready and waiting.

Keep up the hard work boys, and good luck Wednesday night in Game 2.
