Tykes finish off busy week with a WIN
The Don Crawford Carpentry Tyke Rebels had a busy week with 3 games played. Wednesday night in Wiarton against the Bruce Peninsula Sr. Tykes, the Rebels battled hard but came up short losing 8-1 with Finlay Johnston scoring the lone goal
Saturday morning in Desboro vs Shallow Lake tykes was more of the same with Rebel goalie Jacob Fluney making many spectacular saves in a 12-1 loss, and Grady Fritsch breaking the SL shutout.
Sunday was a different story though, making the long drive to Lion's Head to play the BP Jr. Tykes the Rebels came out flying, scoring early and often, cruising to a 14-0 win. Hunter McComb scored 5, Jacob Fluney with 4, Kody Cook with 2 and Simon Potter, Daniel Wallis and Jhett McKee (with his first career goal) adding singles. Grady Fritsch had the shutout.
