On a snowy Valentines Day, the Don Crawford Carpentry Tyke Rebels headed to Paisley for their annual tournament.

Playing bright and early against Tiverton, the Rebels scored early and often en route to a 9-1 victory.  Kody Cook led the attack with 5, Hunter McComb had 3 and Grady Fritsch added a single.

In their 2nd game, the Rebels faced a strong Dundalk team. In a back and forth game with excitement to the very end, the Rebels battled to a 1-1 draw. Finlay Johnston had the goal.

In their last game, against another, even stronger Dundalk team, the Rebels did themselves proud, battling to the very end by scoring 2 goals on the last shift of the game to break up the Dundalk shutout losing 12-2.  Hunter and Kody had the goals.

All in all, a very good day of hockey. Great job everyone!

The Tykes are on the road again next Saturday February 21st when they travel to Chesley for a exhibition games with the IceDogs and then will take to the ice during the TimBit game during the Owen Sound Attack vs Guelph Storm game on Saturday evening.
