INSPIRED BY THE OLYMPICS ...
The 'Great Lakes Frame Co.' Atom REBELS added another WIN to their WOAA playoff record today, to make it 3 - 1.

Jake Moran earned a DOUBLE HAT-TRICK to lead the Rebels in the 7-4 WIN against the West Grey Huskies.

In case you didn't catch the action ... here's how it went down ...
Inspired by the RUSSIA - USA game that most of the team watched before coming to Keady this morning, they were eager to take to the ice.  The Rebels put the pressure on early and started the scoring with Jake Moran tipping in a rebound (assists to Colby McComb and Pearce Lacey).  W.G. answered back to tie it up, but Jake battled through W.G.'s defence to end the 1st period 2 - 1.
Thanks to the 8 rounds of shoot-outs this morning on t.v., Jake learned some new moves and put them to good use in a penalty shot midway through the 2nd.
W.G. scored on a power-play, but before the period was over, Jake backhanded one in (assists to Pearce and AP-Wesley Houston) to go ahead 4 - 2.
The 3rd period went back and forth with the Rebels scoring 3 more and the Huskies adding 2.  Jake pinged one off the back bar (assists to Pearce and Colby), William Hoare buried a rebound (assists to Dylan Ledingham and Jack Murray), and Pearce got another awesome pass to Jake to finish off the double-hat-trick!

The Rebels next home game is on FAMILY DAY @ 6pm in KEADY when they will host Saugeen Shores.
