We`re sad to see it end, but finishing 2nd in the WOAA Round-Robin just wasn`t enough!
The final playoff game for the boys was here in KEADY on Saturday ... where all 4 REBELS teams were victorious that day.
`The Great Lakes Frame Co.` Atom Rep team hosted the Listowel Cyclones and came out on top 4 - 0.
Jake Moran started off the scoring for the REBELS with 1:39 left in the 1st (assisted by
Dylan Ledingham and
Jack Kivell), and
AP-Wyatt Cayley finished off the 2nd with a beauty at 0:01 (assisted by
Austin King).
In the 3rd,
Wyatt scored a minute in (assisted by
Alex DeJong and
Austin) ... and with a minute left (assisted by
Austin and
Dylan) to complete his hat-trick.
We knew we had the right man when
Wyatt scored the OT winner for his own Novice Rep team, just before taking to the ice with us.
Jason Rudolph-MacLeod was amazing between the pipes yet again and earned the shut-out.
