Rebels BrEaK Lakers 5 GAME SHUT-OUT Streak!
Lets start with the good news...
Coming off a 2 week battle with pneumonia, Jack Kivell fired a shot from the blue line in the 2nd period, caught Lakers goalie Jesse Cunningham off guard and got 'The Great Lakes Frame Co.' Atom Rep Rebels on the board - assists to Pearce Lacey and Jake Moran.
Even with the scoreboard strongly in Shallow Lake's favour...the Rebels didn't back down until they heard the final buzzer. With 1:42 left on the clock, Jack Kivell made another great shot from the point and Austin King and Pearce Lacey didn't quit digging until that puck crossed the Lakers goal line.
After doing a little research ... it looks likes the Rebels broke the Lakers 5 game shut-out streak!
With shots up in the 30s fired at him, Jason Rudolph-MacLeod made many fabulous saves / catches, impressing not only his fans ... but some Lakers fans too. Keep up the hard work boys, it will pay off one of these days!
Now for the bad news...
