The TCDMHA Country Charm Mennonite Furniture Midget C Rebel girls ended this
weekend's play with 2 ties.
They played hosts to Kincardine HL Friday night. Melissa Stirling opened the scoring for the Rebels early in the game. Tegan Moore answered back for Kincardine late in the first period. Taylor Slater netted 2 for the Rebels to put them up 3-1. Rachel Whitney put one in for Kincardine to make it 3-2. Nicki Brancati answered back for the Rebels to put them ahead 4-2 at the end of the second. Kincardine came out strong in the third. Megan Stewart-Kemp hit the back of the net for Kincardine early in the third. Jorie Elliott popped in another with 2 minutes to go, ending the game in a 4-4 tie.
The Rebels faced off against Markdale on Sunday night. It was a hard fought battle on both sides, with the game ending in a 0-0 tie. The Rebels have a home game this Friday night at 8:30pm against the Saugeen Shores Storm and will be on the road to Howick on Sunday afternoon to face off against Upper Maitland. Good luck girls!
