The TCDMHA Country Charm Mennonite Furniture Midget C Rebel Girls traveled to
Lions Head to face the Bruce Peninsula Wild on Wed. night.
Emily Wilson opened the scoring for the Wild mid-way through the first period. Taylor Slater answered back for the Rebels with 12 seconds to go in the first. Alexa Miller netted one for the Wild early in the third. Nicki Brancati hit the back of the net for the Rebels to tie it up. It was a hard fought battle with the game ending in a 2-2 tie.
With a little help from Morgan Williamson and Katie Brancati of our Bantam girls team, the Rebels pulled off a 5-2 victory over the Walkerton Capitals on Saturday morning. Williamson got a hat trick, while Katie and Nicki Brancati each chipped in one for the Rebels with Torie Lisk getting the assist on 2 of the goals. Hayley Thede and Niki Lamont were the scorers for the Capitals assisted by Danielle Spitzia and Katrina Hodgins.
