MIDGET C GIRLS SPLIT THE WEEKEND
The TCDMHA Country Charm Mennonite Furniture Midget C Rebel Girls kickedoff
their season with a game in Markdale Saturday against the Shooting Stars.
Despite a short bench, the Rebels came out strong. Unfortunately they fell one goal short, losing 2-1. Nicki Brancati got the lone goal for the Rebels. Scorers for the Shooting Stars are not known at this time.
The Rebels bounced back on home ice Sunday with a 3-1 victory over Walkerton. Torie Lisk, Jessica Bryans and Maddy Moore were the scorers for the Rebels. Carly Morris was the only one able to put one past net minder Amandah Gill.
Come see the Rebels in action again Sunday night as they host Georgian Shores at 6pm in Chatsworth.
