The TCDMHA Sierra Aggregates Midget C Rebel Girls came away from theweekend
with 2 wins on home ice.
They faced Walkerton on Friday night defeating them 4-1. Torie Lisk, Jacey Lisk, Kristina Dyer and Kristen Sweiger scored for the Rebels. Hayley Thede was the only Walkerton player able to put one past Rebels netminder Patti Scarrow.
The Rebels played hosts to Saugeen Shores on Sunday night, pulling off a 6-2 victory. Scoring for the Rebels were Caitlyn Golem, Kristen Sweiger, Nicki Brancati, Torie Lisk, Meghan Cook and Kristina Dyer. Samantha Karounos and Teagan Johnston scored for Saugeen Shores.
The Rebels traveled to Wiarton Monday night to face the Bruce Peninsula Wild. The Rebels fought hard to come back from a 4-1 deficit, but came up one goal short losing 4-3. Scoring for the Rebels were Robyn Pitt, Amanda
Cook and Kristina Dyer. Chase Bridge, Tori Craig, Lacey Moore and Emily Wilson scored for the Wild.
The Rebels take a break over the holidays and return to action on home ice on Jan.8 at 6:00pm in Chatsworth.
