First Game of Round 2...
TCDMHA Town & Country Garden Centre Midget B Rebels hosted Walkerton Capitals in Round 2 of Playdowns on Friday evening.
The Capitals were the first on the scoreboard when Shaelyn Busby had a quick pass out front to Sarah Durrer who put it past the Rebels netminder Michelle McNabb. Still in the first period and not wanting to be outdone, the Rebels own Morgan Potter (assisted by Cala Bryans) snuck one in past the Capitals goalie Madison Elliott. A little over 2 minutes later, Potter with the help of Lex Moore and Kaitlyn Patchell fired her 2nd of the game between the pipes. With many chances for both teams in the 2nd and 3rd periods, that would be all of the goals scored and the Rebels win 2-1!
Come on out and cheer on your favorite Midget B team in their upcoming games and their quest for Provincial Playdowns. Saturday March 3rd at 4:30pm in Thornbury and back home Sunday at 7:30pm in Chatsworth!! See you there!
