Rebels finish 1st overall with a win Over Saugeen Shores!!!
The TCDMHA Desboro Garage Peewee LL Rebels clinched the #1 Spot in the WOAA LL standings with a win Saturday against the Saugeen Shores Storm in Keady.
The Rebels defeated the Storm squad 8-1. The Rebels Connor Bye (Assisted by Skylar Golem)opened the scoring late in the first period. Then in the second period it was the Rebels all the way!!! Kyle Fry netted an unassisted goal,then Clayton Wathke added one of his own (Assisted by Cole McCracken and Bye) Then the Rebels Will McNabb netted 2 goals back to back. 1 was a shorthanded goal (assisted by Kyle Fry and the other by Clayton Wathke) The Rebels continued to dominate the play in The third period, Connor Bye netted his second of the game (assisted by McNabb) Then Evan Longland put one in (Assistes to Jeremy Skippen and Connor Bye)then Finally the Rebels Will Kavanaugh put one past the SS goalie (asssists McCracken and McNabb).Giving the Rebels an 8-0 game. It was looking like a Shut-out was imminent for the Rebels Brady Lisk, but with 5 seconds left in the third, The Storm put their only goal in. Storm Scorer: Evan Lamont (Unassisted)
