Rebels Take the first Win in Championship Round!!!!
The TCDMHA Desboro Garage Peewee LL Rebels Downed Bruce Penninsula 8-5 Monday night in Lions Head in Game 1 of the Championship Round....
The Rebels took off to a Slow Start in the first period but early in the second period they opened up the scoring with a sweet goal by Will Kavanaugh (assists to Will McNabb and Cole McCracken).Then 8 seconds later Kyle Fry (McNabb)added one of his own to give the Rebels a 2-0 lead.Shortly after, The Wild added 1 of their own by Braiden Mielhausen, keeping in tight with the Rebels...But we weren't done as Will McNabb (Fry and Jeremy Skippen)added a goal and then Will Kavanaugh (Connor Bye and Cole McCracken) added his second of the game
Onto the Third Period we went with a 3 goal lead......But the Wild werent ready to give up without a fight....the Wild's Kilty Elliot put one past our netminder early in the third and from then on we seemed to take turns scoring... The Rebels Kyle Fry (McNabb,Skippen)added his second of the game then the Wild added 1 from Robert Monague, Then our Rebels Evan Longland put one in unassisted, and the Wild's Simon Smith replied next it was the Rebels Cole McCracken (Bye and Kavanaugh) putting one in, again the Wild replied again this one from Maverick Soloman...Finally with 38 seconds left Cole McCracken (Bye) also added his second goal of the game to finalize the win...
