WOAA league game #2 - Moore's Meat U11 girls
Rebels Moore's Meat U11 C girls lost a nail biter tonight, facing the Upper Maitland Mustangs at the Howick arena.
Mustangs' Rylee Mueller was first on the board with a goal just shy of the 1st period buzzer.
Rebels' Piper Barfoot kept her streak alive, scoring at 7:47 in the 2nd, assisted by Eden Flood. Mustangs Madilyn Heinmiller earned a go ahead goal with less than a minute left in the 2nd.
Mueller earned a hat trick in the 3rd after potting 2 more, but Rebels' Rylie Stephen battled back with the final goal of the game, burying Tessa Ritchie's shot, Eden Flood with her second assist. So many stellar saves made by Rebels' netminder Arika Moffat.
Final score 4-2 Mustangs, but the Rebels are narrowing the margine every game!
