Not gonna lie...
...the score wasn’t pretty.
No question about it, the Moggie Valley Timber Midget LL Rebels had
their seatcushions handed to them in a 13-2 loss in Mount Forest last
night.
The key to their undoing was the extra man alone in front – goal after goal went in the back door and the Rebels just couldn’t slam it shut. For most of the game, the Rebels let the Mount Forest netminder off lightly, but when they gave back as good as they got, they drove home two nice ones – both from quick trigger pulls in front of the net by Brody Elliot from team captain, Matt Woodroffe, and by Theodore Stockwell from assistant captain, Brodey Barwick and linemate, Mason Hanna.
The Rebels have two more games left in the playoffs, including a chance to meet up with Mt. Forest again on Sunday. Not gonna get off so easy next time, are they boys?
