The Desboro Lions Club Atom C Rebels laced up their runners before their practise to participate as a team in the 5km Ground Hog Jog 2017 in Wiarton this past weekend. Parents and siblings that were available joined the girls. The weather was in our favour and the girls still had their smiles at the finish line. Way to go REBELS!
The Atom C Girls left their skates behind Saturday morning and put on their running shoes. The girls participated in the Wiarton Willie Groundhog jog and everyone did a fantastic job during the 5KM run. The girls had a blast, supported a great cause and many surprised themselves completing the event. After the event the girls still made it to Desboro for practice to prepare for this weeks playdown matchup. Congratulations to all the Rebel girls, team staff, parents and families who completed the run.
