Atom Rep Rebels Compete at Silverstick
With three games on the schedule the Rebels traveled to Wingham Tuesday to kick off their silver stick tournament. First game was against the host team Wingham. The first period rebels came out strong, pressure was in the opposing teams end most of the time. Many shots from the point and quick breakouts but By the end of the second period the score was knotted at 2.
Tired legs and big ice seemed to favor the home team as Wingham kept the pressure on and scored some quick goals stunning the Rebels and taking the game 7-3.
Goals scored by Nate Garret and Aiden Cummings-Callahan just wasn't enough tonight. Rebels had to erase this memory and move on to Saturday's opponents. Shelboune and Ripley.
New day, hopefully different results.
