SMALL BUT MIGHTY
The Don Crawford Carpentry Initiation Team hosted the Georgian Shores Lightening on Saturday. Both teams hit the ice ready play. After an intense warmup, and with a little help were lined up ready to GO!!!!
Puck drops and zoom down the ice the Rebels come to score their 1st of many goals within seconds of the opening faceoff.
The Lightening didn't give up taking a break away opportunity to sneak one past a stretched out REBELS goalie. A great attempt to stretch out post to post left the opening for the Lightening to get on the board.
Leading the Rebels on the gamesheet was Carter Frook with 3 hattricks, Matthew LaFond with 2 hattricks, Noah Garrett netted a pair and single markers went to Austin Edwards and Billy Catto.
These young players hit the road next week with a return visit to Georgian Shorees. BIGGER ice could make a difference, scoreboard doesn't really matter HAVE FUN!!!!
