The Township of Chatsworth “Xtreme Heating” Peewee LL played
against the Saugeen Shores Storm 2 Saturday in Port Elgin. They defeated the
Rebels with a game score of 10-5.
Chris Hardman scored the opening goal at 8:42 assisted by Carson Torrie. Saugeen Shores tied the game up by the end of the first period
The second period was action packed with the puck back and forth from end to end. Saugeen scored the first goal of the period at 9:46 but Grant Stephen made a nice unassisted goal to tie up the game at 8:30. The storm made a quick come back scoring another goal at 7:44. They also managed to score two more goals after that. Jake Hartman scored our third goal of the game unassisted at 5:03. Carson Torrie scored the fourth goal of the game at 3:25 assisted by Chris Hardman. The Rebels were only down by one goal at the end of the second period, making the score so far 5-4.
Saugeen scored the remainder of their goals in the third period. Chris Hardman scored the Rebels final goal of the game assisted by Carson Torrie.
Our goalie Lucas Moore made a lot of nice saves and did a great job in net today!!!
