Quest for Provincials Ends in Disappointing Loss
Town & Country Garden Centre Midget B Rebels hosted Markdale Shooting Stars in Game 6 of Provincial playdowns on Sunday night.
Rebels own Courtney Torrie (Abby Doig) would hit the scoreboard first with a goal to celebrate her 18th birthday!
Second period would see the Shooting Stars tie it up with a goal from Brooklyn Betts. With lots of scoring opportunities for both teams, the action kept fans tense!
Third period scoring would come from Amy Lipsett and an empty netter from Jodi Stewart to end the game 3-1 and send Markdale to Provincials. Great game ladies!
