OWHA Playdown Action Continues for Midget "B"
In Playdown action on Sunday night, TCDMHA Town & Country Garden Centre
Midget B Rebels hosted Georgian Shores Lightning in Chatsworth.
With lots of opportunities in the first period it would end with zeroes on the board. Both teams would come alive in the second with the Rebels starting the scoring early in the first with a goal from Kristina Dyer (Lexy Horton, Morgan Potter) and another quick one from Courtney Torrie (Dyer, Abby Doig). The Lightning would respond back with 2 quick ones of their own from Kelly Banks and Clara Phillips. Before the 2nd would end, the Rebels would throw one more up on the board when Torrie (Dyer, Potter) would net her second.
Karlee Sweiger (Catherine Bradley) would net the final goal of the game in the 3rd period to end the game 4-2 win for the Rebels.
