Regional Playdowns Game 1
Town & Country Garden Centre Midget B had great weather for traveling to Meaford Tuesday night to take on the Georgian Shores Lightning in Regional Playdowns.
The Rebels would start the scoring early in the first period with a goal from Morgan Potter (Karlee Sweiger) just 30 seconds into the game. Before the first period was over, the Rebels would hit the board again with a goal from Kristina Dyer (Catherine Bradley).
Courtney Torrie (Sweiger) would pull the Rebels ahead by 3 early in the second with her goal. The Lightning would respond with an unassisted goal from Deanne Service before the buzzer rang for the end of the second period.
Third period scoring would come from the Rebels with a goal from Sidney Vaivods (Lexy Horton) and less than 30 seconds later Dyer (Bradley) would net her second of the game to end the game with a 5-1 win for the TCDMHA Rebels.
