A Win and A Loss
Town & Country Garden Centre Midget B Rebels traveled to Sarnia for the Annual Girls Silverstick tournament.

The first game matched the two teams who met in the finals last year!  Petrolia Oilers started the scoring in the first with a goal from Jenna Bolton and they responded quickly with another from Mackenzie Sleaford.  With just seconds left, the Rebels would put a mark on the board with a goal from Lexy Horton (Morgan Potter, Sidney Vaivods).
Petrolia would score 2 in the second from Taylor Pamham and Erica Vandersteen. Rebels would hit the board one more time in the 3rd with 2 seconds left with a goal from Bailey Longland (Potter, Bri Cook) to end the game 4-2.

The second game was a late night match against Waterloo.  Rebels would start the scoring with a beauty from Courtney Torrie (Catherine Bradley, Bri Cook).  Waterloo would tie it up before the end of the first with a goal from Rebecca Heidenreich.
Early in the 2nd period the Rebels would get on the board with a great shot from Morgan Potter (B. Cook) and then another goal from Torrie unassisted.
Third period scoring happened with great teamwork in front of the net from Karlee Sweiger (Torrie, Bailey Longland) to end the game with a 4-1 win!

Next action is Saturday at 2:40pm against Ilderton.
