Friday night saw the TCDMHA Barry's Construction Atom LL Rebels in action
against Bruce Peninsula Wild in Wiarton
The Rebels came out strong and led the scoring with a goal from Pearce Lacey. The Wild answered back and the scoring went back and forth to end in a 5-4 win for the Wild. Goals for the Rebels came from Dalan Frook, assisted by Charlie Scott, Jack Murray, assisted by Curtis Wade and Jeremy Kirk, and a final breakaway goal from Curtis Wade. The Rebels threw on an extra man to try to tie up the game, but ran out of time.
Player of the Game went to Talmon Ash - great work Talmon!
The TCDMHA Barrys Construction Atom LL Rebels played again on Saturday at home against the Saugeen Shores Storm. Another close game that saw the Storm take it, 3-2.
The Storm got up two goals in the first and second period, but the Rebels came on with two quick goals late in the second period. The first from Curtis Wade, nicely assisted by Lorenzo Pedro, and the second goal from Dalan Frook, assisted by Jack Murray.
Again, the Rebels put on an extra man in the last minutes of play, but couldn't quite get one in the net.
Player of the game went to Hunter Courtney. Great game Hunter!
