Shut out for Mackison
It was a 2-0 victory for the TCDMHA Barrys Construction Atom LL Rebels on he ice
Saturday against the Saugeen Shores Storm 1.
Goalie Owen Mackison stood on his head, making critical saves, throughout the entire game. It wasn't until the third period that the Rebels were able to end the standoff with a goal from Jack Murray, beautifully assisted by Hunter Courtney and Lorenzo Pedro.
A second goal from Murray, shorthanded and assisted by Wesley Houston, gave the Rebels a little insurance to push through the last few minutes of the game.
All three centres played well in shutting down some key Storm players. Player of the game went to Curtis Wade. Good work Curtis!
