STRONG EFFORT BY BARRY'S CONSTRUCTION in ATOM LL ACTION
It was a strong effort from the Township of Chatsworth, Barry's Construction
Atom LL team in action Saturday against Saugeen Shores in Southampton.
The Rebels came back in the second period to net two goals and tie up the score after The Storm got ahead in the first. The Rebels first goal came from Grant Stephen as he tricked one past the goalie with a laser from outside the blue line! A second goal was scored from the defence with a bullet from Pearce Lacey that blew by the goalie to tie things up.
The Rebels tried hard to hang on when the Storm pulled ahead with one more goal in the middle of the third. The Rebels came on strong with 6 men out for the last minutes of play but couldn't get one by the goalie. To end the game 3-2 in favour of the Storm
A great effort was made by all and notably by Talmon Ash on offence and Liam Harrison on defence!
