Lakers Secure the Win with a Power Play Goal
It was a tough loss at home for the Township of Chatsworth Barry's Construction
Atom LL Rebels on Wednesday night against the Shallow Lake Lakers.
The Rebels Clayton Kreuger, assisted by Dalan Frook, opened the scoring early in the first period. The second period saw two goals from Shallow Lake to pull ahead and another in the third. The Rebels answered with a goal from Curtis Wade and assisted by Jack Murray and Liam Harrison in a scramble in front of the net. Unfortunately the Lakers answered back with a power play goal to put them ahead by two.
The Rebels came alive with an extra man on the ice at the end of the third to try to close the gap...but time ran out, and they couldn't get one in the net.
