Consolation Champions in the 54th Annual Mildmay-Carrick Atom Minor Hockey
Tournament on Sunday
The Rebels lost their first game of the day in overtime to Blyth-Brussels 2 to 1. Austin McComb scored the lone goal assisted by Wyatt Golem and Calvin Stewart.
The Rebels went on to play the Seaforth Stars and won 3 to 1. Nick Garrett scored a pair for the Rebels and Wyatt Golem scored the single. Goals assisted by Stewart, Jordan Beirnes (2), Hunter Schultz and Golem.
The Rebels won the consolation final against Teeswater 8 to 3. Austin McComb netted four goals for the Rebels, Hunter Schultz had the hat trick and Calvin Stewart scored a single. Assists to Schultz (2), Austin Waite, Golem (3) and McComb.
Player of the game honours went to Austin McComb, Robbie Hann, and Hunter Schultz.
The Atom Rep will host BCH in Keady on Wednesday night for game 3 of the WOAA Lockridge Championship. The home town boys currently lead the series 2-0, lets get out and cheer on the Atom Rep as they look to clinch the title. Game time 7:30
