Novice LL2, U9, 2010-2011 (TCDMHA)

Desboro Tire Novice LL#2 lost to Saugeen Shores #2 on Saturday 5-0 in the final series of the WOAA 2 to 1. With the score only 1-0 nearing the end of the 2nd period the Rebels seemed to have ran out of gas.  Giving up 1 more goal at the end of the 2nd period and 3 more in the third. The Rebels had their chances to even it up but couldn't capitalize. Rebels LL#2 played great in the playoffs winning 4 out of 6 games.  Even beating Saugeen Shores #2 a team they hadn't beaten all year.  A BIG THANKS goes out to the coaching staff of Tim Gilchrist, Colleen Harrison and Ken Kivell. The Desboro Tire Novice LL#2 win 3 to 2 in the first game of 2 of 3 against Saugeen Shores #2, in the Final Round of WOAA Playoff action.

In exhibition action Wednesday night the Desboro Tire Rebel Novice LL#2 tied the Durham Huskies, 4 to 4. In an exciting game the Rebels were down 4 to 2 in the 3rd period. The Rebels made it 4 to 3 and then tied it with 1:33 to go in the game. Scoring for the Rebels was Chandler Weikmann, Clay Kreuger, Jakob Moran and Lorenzo Pedro.  Assists going to Janna Wardell and Charlie Scott. Great goaltending by Jade Gilchrist.

The Desboro Tire Novice LL#2 came out on top of the Ed McNabb Roofing LL#1 in WOAA playoff action 4 to 1. A great game played by both teams. Jakob Moran and Tristin Brown both had a goal and an assist for Rebels LL#2. Also Clay Kreuger and Chandler Weikmann each had a goal with Janna Wardell adding an assist. Nicholas Garrett scored for the Rebels LL#1.
