Wardell & Moran Score for the Rebels
The Homelife Bayside Realty Atom C girls travelled to Walkerton Wednesday night for Game 2 of their OWHA Provincial Play-down series. The girls faced off against the undefeated Capitals and played one of their best games of the year. Astelle Wardell tied the game at one goal a piece early in the 2nd period with Kassey Mustard assisting. The Rebels then tied it up again in the third period with a goal by Jessica Moran, Kassey Mustard (assist). But unfortunately the Capitals got the go ahead goal late in the third period and took the game 3 to 2. It was an action-packed game and the girls all played their hearts out!! Way to go ladies ~ we are so proud of you!!
