Silver Medal Finalists!
Country Charm Mennonite Furniture Bantam C Rebels met up with Toronto Leaside Wildcats in the final game in Toronto.
Rebels own Taylor Slater (Melissa Stirling, Morgan Potter) opened the scoring in the first period with a great set up play. Leaside came back late in the 2nd period to tie the game 1-1. Early in the 3rd, they netted their 2nd of the game. With the Rebels fighting hard to tie it up, they pulled the goalie just under 5 minutes left but just couldn't get another past the Leaside goalie! The Rebels lost 2-1 but not after a good and hard battle! Great job ladies on bringing silver home and thanks for a great weekend!
