Bantam C Girls Tame the Wild
Country Charm Mennonite Furniture travelled to Lion's Head to participate in their Hockey Day in Canada Event on Saturday and came home with an 8-2 win!
Opening the scoring was a shot from Morgan Potter (Catherine Bradley) within the first minute of play. With seconds left in the 1st, Kelli Bradley (Melissa Stirling) scored the second of the game. The action was back and forth in the 2nd period with Morgan (K. Bradley) netting her 2nd of the game followed quickly by one from Lexi Clark for the Wild. Courtney Hepburn followed with the Wild's 2nd goal of the game and the 2nd period ended with an unassisted goal from Morgan (hat trick!) Morgan opened the scoring in the 3rd with an unassisted goal followed by one from K. Bradley (Potter, Caitlyn Golem), another from K. Bradley unassisted and finishing off with an unassisted goal from Kristina Dyer.
