Rebels Storm Saugeen
"Country Charm Mennonite Furniture" Bantam C girls travelled to Port Elgin on Saturday and walked away with their first win against the Storm all season.
Both teams kept their fans guessing during the first period with the first goal of the game coming halfway in the 2nd. Morgan Potter was finally able to get the monkey off her back and netted the first goal of the game unassisted. Finishing off the 2nd period with no one else scoring, Zoe Mackintosh jammed one in for the Storm on Amandah Gill. Not to be outdone, Morgan came through again with another with the help of the sisters, Catherine and Kelli Bradley. To finish the game with a little over a minute left, Morgan fired her hat trick past the Storm netminder with the help of Catherine and Caitlyn Golem to end the game 3-1.
Great job ladies!
