Ice Angels Shoot Out Rebels
Manitoulin Ice Angels came out of the first period with a goal from Anna Migwans in semi final tournament action in Orillia.
Rebels fought hard but waited until the third period for Kristina Dyer to poke Taylor Slaters rebound passed the Angels netminder to tie up the game. With the game ending in a tie, we went for a simultaneous shoot out (very hard to watch!) Going through the first 3 shooters proved very difficult to determine a winner with Patti Scarrow blocking every attempt so we continued on through our line ups. The 4th attempt by the Ice Angels was the game winning goal which advanced the Angels but knocked out our own Bantam C Rebels team.
Rebels fought hard and played well! We will get them next year ladies!!
