Penalty Shot in Overtime Ties Series!
With 37 seconds remaining in overtime, the AIR TECH MECHANICAL Bantam Rep Rebels were awarded a penalty shot.  Jamie Grey-Scott scored to give the Rebels the victory and tie this OMHA quarter-final series with the Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs at 2 points each.

The Rebels opened the scoring in the first period with a goal by Tyler Dietrich (assist to Joel Delleman).  The Rebels' Andrew Wheeler then scored their second goal (assisted by Brendan Batterman).  This was soon answered with an un assisted goal from the Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs' Mitch Wand.  The Ice Dogs then tied the game in the third period with a goal by Harley Drost (assist to Zack Freiburger).  This sent the game into overtime, where the Rebels emerged victorious.  Game 3 of the 6 point series is on Monday, February 14 at 7:15 pm in Chesley.
