MIDGET GIRLS TIE & WIN
The TCDMHA Town & Country Garden Centre Midget C Rebel Girls played
games2 & 3 of their provincial playdown action this weekend.
They traveled to Meaford to face the Georgian Shores Lightening Friday night, coming out with a 3-3 tie. Scoring for the Rebels were Erin Potter, McKenna Yost and Jacey Lisk. Scoring for Georgian Shores were Julia Razeau, Tori Johnston and Emma Page.
The Rebels were on the road again on Saturday to face off against the Markdale Shooting Stars. Goal tender Michelle McNabb was on fire, leading her team to a 3-0 victory. Kaitlyn Patchell, McKenna Yost and Courtney
Torrie all managed to find the back of the net for the Rebels. The Rebels host the Owen Sound Ice Hawks this Friday night at 9pm at the Chatsworth Arena for the 4th and deciding game to see who advances to round 2 of the playoff action. Come cheer them on.
