MIDGET GIRLS TIE
The TCDMHA Town & Country Garden Centre Midget C Rebel Girls kicked
off round 1 of their provincial playdown action with a 3-3 tie against
the Bruce Peninsula Wild Friday night.
Meghan Cook scored early for Rebels, but Karlee Kelly answered right back scoring 2 for the Wild. Sierra Ellis
scored another to put the Wild up 3-1 heading into the 3rd. The Rebels were digging hard in the corners and managed to put the puck on the stick of Erin Potter to bring the Rebels within one. Taylor Vokes tied the game
for the Rebels on a hard shot from the point. Both teams fought hard to end the game in a 3-3 tie. The Rebels travel to Meaford for game 2 next Friday night. Good luck girls!
