Tryout Registration (TCDMHA)

There will be three scheduled tryouts.

 Cuts may be made after the second tryout.

 Attendance at all tryouts is strongly recommended, and may be taken into consideration.

 DO NOT Swap Jerseys with other players.

 All Skaters should be dressed and ready 15 minutes before the tryout start time.

 All Parents must be clear of the dressing room area 10 minutes before skating.

 Teams will be selected by Independent Evaluators and the Head Coach.

 There will be NO contact with on/off ice officials and evaluators during the tryout process.

 As per section 3.6(d) of the TCDMHA Manual of operations, registration refunds will not be provided to players who have attended tryouts, with the exception of players attending tryouts on a Permission to Skate, and/or players injured during tryouts who have a medical note exempting them from the coming season.

 Players will be given a letter after the final tryout.  Out of respect for the players, letters are not to be opened in the presence of other players or parents.  We ask that letters be opened in the privacy of your own vehicle or home.

 Additional constructive feedback may be provided to players who are unsuccessful at tryouts after a 48 hour waiting period. 

 Evaluation sheets completed by coaches and evaluators are confidential, and will not be released or copied under any circumstance.

 All decisions made by evaluators and the head coach are FINAL.
