Wrap-up and Planning
Hello hockey families We hope everyone is keeping safe, and hopefully enjoying some down time in the nice weather.  Hockey may be cancelled, but we are still working on this year’s items, plus planning for next season.

Registration
Registration for the 2020/2021 season will be opening this week.  Please be sure to submit your registration before April 30th to avoid late fees.

Payment options have changed slightly this season and 3 options will be available. ***Note, no player will be permitted to participate in power skating, tryouts or any team practices until all fees are paid in full***

  • 3 Post Dated Checks (May 1st, July 1st, September 1st)

  • eTransfer (FULL PAYMENT ONLY, Deadline August 15th)

  • Credit Card (FULL PAYMENT ONLY, Deadline August 15th)

Details for Check payment and eTransfer can be found on the registration form when it released.

In fairness to volunteers, please do not wait until the deadline to send your payment.  We are volunteers, not a collection agency. We should not have to chase people for money.

We recognize that during these trying times that making payment via check or eTransfer may be difficult this season for some or even many.  For this reason, we are adding the option for Credit Card payment for this season only.  We pay a fee for each credit card transaction, so if you can pay by check or eTransfer please do so.  If you want to pay by credit card this season please use that option, no questions asked.   Details for how to make a credit card payment will be sent out in May.

Financial Assistance options can be found on our web page for those who need it. If you are considering applying for financial assistance don’t delay, they will likely be in high demand this season.

Year End Banquet

Unfortunately, the 2020 year end awards banquet has been cancelled.

Annual General Meeting

The 2020 AGM has been postponed until further notice.  Executive will re-evaluate the options for an AGM during a State of Emergency provided by the OMHA at our meeting in May.

Jersey and Equipment Collection

We are tentatively planning an equipment/jersey/iPad drop off day on Sunday May 3rd in Keady.  Teams will be asked to designate 1 person to drop off their Jerseys, iPads, goalie equipment, trainers kits etc.  Each team will be designated a specific time and area to drop off their equipment to ensure there is only one person dropping off gear at any given time.  Details will be sent to managers in the near future.

Stay Safe and Healthy!

Township of Chatsworth
Essentially a rural community, the Township of Chatsworth takes its flavour from the farmlands and forests surrounding it. We welcome visitors to stop and visit as you drive through central Grey County. Amalgamated January 1, 2000, the Township of Chatsworth is made up of the former Townships of Holland and Sullivan and the Village of Chatsworth. The Township population is approximately 8,000 in an area of 260 square miles. Agriculture is the most predominant industry in the Township. There are also a significant number of sawmills in the township, many operated by the Amish community. Tourism and recreation are a growing industry. The Niagara Escarpment, 6 county forests, numerous conservation areas, inland lakes and major rivers provide plenty of year round activities including hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing.
Township of Georgian Bluffs
Just a few hours from major Ontario cities, Georgian Bluffs is a collection of communities stretching north from Chatsworth to just south of Wiarton. Copper Kettle, Cobble Beach, Slough of Despond, Big Bay, Oxenden, Balmy Beach… these are just some of the names that paint a picture of the Georgian Bluffs canvas along the Georgian Bay Coastal Route. We have the natural beauty of waterfalls, the Niagara Escarpment and the blue waters of Georgian Bay just to mention a few of our natural amenities. We are a township for all seasons!
