Golden Laces Campaign
Submitted By Vonnie Crawford on Sunday, March 18, 2018
Thank you the to TCDMHA community for supporting the Golden Laces Campaign in support of a local family

Kim Koeslag has been selling gold laces for hockey skates and many, many TCDMHA teams purchased laces for $10 per pair and proceeds went to Brooklyn Hutton and her family as a fundraiser for Brooklyn’s cancer treatments.

Brooklyn is a student in grade 4 at Sullivan community school where Kim teaches. Kim wanted to let everyone who supported the cause know that she have been able to give $4600.00 to the Hutton family though the sale of the laces and through other donations that have come in. Kim still has all sizes of laces available for sale. Size 36” all the way to 120” that can accommodate shoes, boots, cleats, broomball shoes, and hockey skates. The laces are “gold” in colour (bright yellow) because gold is the official colour of childhood cancers. If anyone wants laces they can contact Kim at
(519) 794-9920.

Kim  would like to express thanks to the TCDMHA community for their support.  It is an amazing community we live in and I am very thankful for the kindness and generosity of everyone.
