DJ Gamble Earns Shut Out Against the Attack
The Township of Chatsworth "Air-Tech Mechanical" Bantam Boys LL1 played the Owen Sound Jr Attack LL1 on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Markdale Arena.  It was very cold in the arena but the action on the ice kept the fans in the stands!!   Aaron Sadler started the scoring for the Rebels early in period one with a short-handed goal on a nice set-up by Adam Gorman.

Dalan Frook scored the second goal of the game with some quick stick work around the net, unassisted.

The second period had barely started when Pearce Lacey "unleashed the beast" and scored from a distance, unassisted.  Defence partner Landon Heathers showed some great moves and scored the next goal, unassisted.  Curtis Wade then scored his first of four goals of the game, assisted by Jack Diaz and his "new" hockey stick.  Jack Diaz would then score with that "new" stick, assisted by Adam Gorman.

The beginning of the third period saw a lot of back and forth play.  Once again Rebel's goalie DJ Gamble denied all scoring opportunities and kept the net clean.  Curtis Wade scored three impressive goals during the period.  The first was unassisted, the second was assisted by Jack Kivell.  The final goal was assisted by Pearce Lacey.

Congratulations to DJ Gamble on his well deserved shut out!!

Final Score:Rebels  9,    Jr. Attack  0

The Rebels play West Grey Monday night in Ayton.

Township of Georgian Bluffs
Just a few hours from major Ontario cities, Georgian Bluffs is a collection of communities stretching north from Chatsworth to just south of Wiarton. Copper Kettle, Cobble Beach, Slough of Despond, Big Bay, Oxenden, Balmy Beach… these are just some of the names that paint a picture of the Georgian Bluffs canvas along the Georgian Bay Coastal Route. We have the natural beauty of waterfalls, the Niagara Escarpment and the blue waters of Georgian Bay just to mention a few of our natural amenities. We are a township for all seasons!
Township of Chatsworth
Essentially a rural community, the Township of Chatsworth takes its flavour from the farmlands and forests surrounding it. We welcome visitors to stop and visit as you drive through central Grey County. Amalgamated January 1, 2000, the Township of Chatsworth is made up of the former Townships of Holland and Sullivan and the Village of Chatsworth. The Township population is approximately 8,000 in an area of 260 square miles. Agriculture is the most predominant industry in the Township. There are also a significant number of sawmills in the township, many operated by the Amish community. Tourism and recreation are a growing industry. The Niagara Escarpment, 6 county forests, numerous conservation areas, inland lakes and major rivers provide plenty of year round activities including hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing.
