Back and Forth Battle for Tykes in Hanover
The Don Crawford Contracting Tyke Rebels travelled to Hanover to face the Tyke Blues. With lots of ice to work with, the Rebels jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when Colton King went end to end and finished the breakaway goal. Hanover came right back to take a 2-1 lead, but the Rebels kept battling and Billy Catto was able to pick up a loose puck and skate in alone to beat the goalie to tie it up at 2. Rebels goalie Grady Fritsch made save after acrobatic save to keep it close but Hanover was able to pull ahead 6-2.
Colton scored again late in the game to make it close, but Hanover was able to add one more to finish with a 7-3 win. Great game by all Rebels with some strong skating and aggressive puck play.
