Hard Faught Battle In Desboro Today
Horton's Concrete Novice LL#2 played a defensive roll in the first period and kept the shots down in our end. Rebels took a commanding lead in the second with Hall and Cook finding the back of the net. Hall, Cook and J.McKee combined for the assists.
Everything looked great entering the mid point of the third period until the Storm's Brock Dickson took off with the puck in his own end and weaved through our rebels and snuck a beauty goal past our goaltender(Dylan Harris).
At 3:05 a bad bounce off our defense tied the game up and another at 1:55 gave the Storm the lead.
Many great chances in the last 5 min were turned away by the storms net minder that proved to be timely as they came away with the 3-2 victory.
Conner Thede earned the puck for Hardest Worker today for taking his coaches advice by positioning himself in the right place and skating hard to get into the play. Every Rebel played a great game.
