Rebels Keep Win Streak Alive
As the storm blew into Dodge, Rebels were the ones who created a flurry.
Good things happen when you listen to the coach!! The rebels stepped on the ice and took the storm for a ride. At 8:46 Simon Potter found himself in the right spot to net his 4th goal of the season with the helper coming from Cody Cook. One minute later Trevor McCarthy skated the puck in and lifted one past the goalie for his first of the season. It didn't end there with a minute left in the first, Easton Croft(4) made a few sweet moves from the point and shot one 5 hole.
Storm had some good skaters and challenged Dylan Harris who debuted in net today. He came up with timely saves which helped motivate his teammates. Eventually Cook(9) was rewarded with a goal in the 3rd after many great chances. The Storm didn't give up and started to create opportunities, that's when Dylan's shutout was erased. At 2:04 Owen Sheehan found an opening. 4-1 victory for the Rebels. Looking to continue the streak when we meet our arch rivals this Wednesday, Rebels 1 this ones going to hurt! lol
