KOESLAG FINDS THE BACK OF NET IN FIRST 30 SECONDS
The TCDMHA Novice C girls faced off against a strong Owen Sound Ice Hawks Novice C team this morning in Desboro.
Our Rebels came out on fire and took the seasoned Owen Sound Hawks by surprise when Hennessy Koeslag fired the puck into the back of the net in the first 30 seconds of the game (assisted by Claire Torrie and Chloe Stephen). The Rebels held their lead until 52 seconds left in the 1st period when Hawks scored to tie it up.
It was a back and forth battle between these two teams as the game remained tied throughout the 2nd period.
In the third period, the Hawks found the back of the net again to take the lead. The Rebels continued to play hard and had some chances but in the end it wasn't quite enough and the Hawks got their final goal to win the game 3-1.
