Most Exciting Game So Far
The Extreme Heating Pee Wee LL Rebels played in an amazing game on Monday Night taking on Hanover #2. The first period ended with both teams unable to beat the goalies. Hanover scored with six minutes left in the second to take the lead. Adam Gorman would tie it back up again for the Rebels with just a minute left in the second. Dillon Fry assisted on Gorman's goal
The Rebels were definitely taking control of the game during the second period with great positional play by all and awesome defensive plays by Daniel Mustard, Colby McComb, Liam Harrison and Landon Heathers. Owen Mackison was tremendous in net as well.
The Rebels continued to control the play into the third period but it was Hanover who would take the lead with just 1:17 seconds left in the game. The Rebels did not give up and responded right back at the 52 second mark as Landon Heathers carried the puck out from behind his net and hit William Hoare with a great break out pass to center. Hoare then chipped the puck up to streaking Dalan Frook who broke in on the wing and fired a perfect shot beating the goalie to tie the game again. With just 2 seconds left on the clock Hanover buried the puck on a scramble in front of our net to steal the game 3-2. Everyone was amazed at the last few minutes of what was already a very competitive and exciting game.
