Cumming Dominates Against West Grey!
The Chatsworth "Desboro Lion's Club" Atom Rebel girls faced West Grey on Sunday in Ayton in their third provincial play down game out of six.

Despite the rough game with three Rebel penalties and five West Grey penalties the Rebels scored twice in the first period. Both goals were by Lyndsay Cumming! The first was unassisted and the second was assisted by Claire Vokes.

The Lyndsay Cumming and Claire Vokes duo were on fire as Lyndsay scored again in the 2nd period assisted by Claire. Shortly after, West Grey finally got a goal past our solid defence and goalie Allison Hoy to make it 3-1.

In the third, West Grey narrowed the gap scoring again to make it 3-2. The Rebels didn't give up though and Lyndsay Cumming came through with a big goal in the last two minutes to seal the 4-2 win for the Rebels. That goal was assisted by Jaclyn Beirnes.

Great job girls! Good luck Tuesday when you play Saugeen Shores in Desboro at 7:00.

Come on out and cheer us on!
