Rebels Fall to Markdale in Playdown Game
The Chatsworth "Desboro Lion's Club" Atom C girls fell to Markdale in their second Provincial Playdown game on Wednesday night 6-2.
The Rebels battled hard throughout the game keeping it close in the first period. Markdale scored first and Claire Vokes tied it up off of a pass from Emma Frook. Despite the Rebels hard back-checking and keeping the puck in Markdale's end for much of the time Markdale scored four more goals. The Rebels finally answered back with a goal of their own in the third. Natalie Madill rushed the net and scored unassisted. Unfortunately, Markdale was able to get another one past us to make the final score 6-2.
