Who Let the Dogs Out?
The Desboro Tire Novice LL#1 team hosted the Arran Elderslie Ice Dogs. The Rebels squad protected their bone or rather the puck and denied every chance the Ice Dogs had to score.
The Rebels on the other hand, worked hard up and down the ice and found the back of the net 6 times! Jackson Gordon got the Rebels on the board first with a nice set-up and pass from Austin Rasmussen and Logan Curtis. Neil Gilchrist's shot from the point slipped under the Ice Dogs defender, and then less than a minute later Matthew LaFond fires one hard in the net. Gordon scores his second of the night at 4:50 of the second with Carter Frook adding another point to the scoreboard, assists going to Finlay Johnston and Gilchrist! Frook would then add his second of the night during the last shift of the game, helpers this time being awarded to Rasmussen and Johnston. Jacob Fluney kept the doghouse clean and recorded the shut-out! Beware of our Bark!
